Ingersoll Novice LL2 Butterworths are just over 5 weeks in to the season with a record of 5 wins and 5 losses.
Their first week had Butterworths traveling to Langton and despite their best efforts, they came up short. Next, they travelled to Delhi for their second game and recorded their first win. In week 2, Butterworths had their home opener and defeated Norwich 4-2. Next, they played Six Nations and recorded their third win in a row.
Butterworths hosted Paris 2, hoping to keep their win streak going, the boys put up a solid effort, but fell short and lost to Paris.
Butterworths welcomed Burford in Ingersoll. Butterworths dominated the game with some great positional play and came up with a win.
Then the battle of the Ingersoll teams came. Butterworths played Anderson Appliance. It was a close game, Butterworths was down by one goal in the last minute, in an effort to tie the game, they pulled the goalie but just fell short and lost.
Butterworths played a home game against Simcoe. The boys came out strong and were rewarded with a win. Butterworths then travelled to Paris for their 10th game of the season. Both teams were evenly matched and they all played their hearts out. Despite Butterworths best efforts they were not able to tie the game up in the third period. It’s been an exciting season so far, Butterworths has an upcoming home game against Tillsonburg on November 27 at 6pm.
