The Palace Theatre/London Community Players presents Anne of Green Gables: the Musical with music by Norman Campbell, lyrics by Don Harron, Norman Campbell, Elaine Campbell and Mavor Moore, and book is by Don Harron. The show is produced by Christopher F. Parker, directed by Kristina Baron-Woods, choreographed by Ceris Thomas, and musical directed by Alexandra Kane.

The show: The much-beloved gem of Canadian musical theatre based on Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic tale of Anne Shirley - a feisty red-haired orphan who comes into the lives of Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, unmarried, aging siblings looking for orphan boy to help on their farm after Matthew’s recent heart attack. When Anne arrives instead, she quickly charms the kindly Matthew, while Marilla and much of the small town of Avonlea are wary of this strange girl. Eventually, Anne, with her vivid imagination and irrepressible spirit, wins over the hearts of the entire community of Avonlea, and brings love to Green Gables, despite some hilarious missteps along the way.
