I just saw this article on the SR website:
Hardeman's bill to help farmers endorsedNow that, my friends, is government working together. Hardeman's party isn't even in power yet he was able to present an idea that was acceptable to all. On the flip side, the Liberals, in a majority situation none the less, were willing to look at this idea from "the opposition", see it's merits, and support it.
To anyone who actually reads my blog posts, you probably can guess that I'm not a big fan of the PC Party, or Hardeman himself, but I will extend to him my congratulations on getting this bill passed. That's how government should work. Supportable legislation as well as parties willing to support it.
The feds, especially the Conservative Party of Canada, should take note of how this little Ontario government is running at times like this. Maybe we need legislation to help them see these "signs" as well. :)
